Aging – Oy Vey
For a long time, I enjoyed a mirror-mind disconnect. Being severely myopic, this illusion was bolstered by seeing myself in the mirror through a “Murder She Wrote” hazy filter. I never liked being photographed, so many of my pictures are of a younger me, but with enhanced mobile phone photo technology, I get to see myself way too often. Trader Joe’s – Organic and Kosher Foods
If you came to Charleston from the northeast, you may be in search of delicacies hard to find down here. For me, it was kosher chicken. With Passover approaching, I need kosher chicken to make my famous matzah-ball soup. After local supermarkets in West Ashley had none. So I ventured over to Mt. Pleasant to Trader Joe’s. It appears that I am not alone. Area synagogues order their kosher chickens from Trader Joe’s too!
