Edmund’s Oast

Edmond’ Oast

If you’re looking for a fun Charleston restaurant with great food, home made beer, wonderful service and terrific atmosphere you’ve found it at Edmund’s Oast, 1081 Morrison Drive. The fun part is sitting at the restaurant bar that over looks the kitchen staff as they prepare some of the most unique dishes in all of Charleston. The staff is friendly and let’s you eat at your pace and doesn’t interfere with you and your guests unless of course you show an epicurean interest and then they’re happy to engage with and take a selfie or two.

The deep assortment of appetizers is a great way to start. The cured charcuterie and cheese plates, corn bread, curry fries and shrimp toast are all excellent but the pickled shrimp plate is the most unique and delicious way to enjoy the delicacy. The main courses are equally as unique and exciting but you can discover those elements yourself.  This is a must see stop on your Charleston Food trail.

  1. Edmund’s Oast is one of my favorite places. LOVE LOVE the burger and if you’re a Game of Thrones fan they have a bourbon drink called the Red Wedding which is a must try.
